NICE has also issued guidance on percutaneous intradiscal laser ablation in the lumbar spine, prosthetic intervertebral disc replacement in the lumbar spine, percutaneous electrothermal treatment of the intervertebral disc annulus for low back pain and sciatica and percutaneous intradiscal radiofrequency treatment of the intervertebral disc nucleus for low back pain.
