Diabetes
Diabetes is one of the key clinical areas of health inequalities identified in NHS England’s Core20PLUS5 framework for children and young people.
The main aims are to increase access to real-time continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps in the most deprived quintiles and from ethnic minority backgrounds and increase the proportion of children and young people with type 2 diabetes receiving annual health checks.
