NICE medicines and prescribing associates

Our associates help us to support high quality, safe, cost-effective prescribing and medicines optimisation.

They work within their organisation and across their local health economy to develop and share ideas and examples of good practice.

About our associates

Our associates are professionals working at the forefront of excellence across the UK. They work in and support front line health care services across England, Northern Ireland, Wales, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

Establishing a national medicines optimisation community of practice, they have trained and supported nearly 100 clinicians through 1:1s, small group meetings, webinars and in-person events. Drawn from a range of organisations and professions, the community includes pharmacists, nurses and doctors.

Associates are not employed by NICE but have a memorandum of understanding with us.
