Key question: responsive
We have mapped our guidelines to the CQC's single assessment framework. It sets out quality statements which providers should uphold under the 5 key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The CQC's 'responsive' key question assesses whether services are organised and delivered to meet people's needs, ensuring person-centred care, respecting their rights and addressing concerns effectively.
We make sure people are at the centre of their care and treatment choices and we decide, in partnership with them, how to respond to any relevant changes in their needs.
