Knowledge transfer seminars
Learn about NICE's programmes, methods and processes through an educational seminar.
We help international organisations to understand who we are, what we do and our position in the English health and social care system.
What we offer
We can host knowledge transfer seminars at our UK offices, in your country or by webinar.
Seminars are delivered by NICE staff and other experts. Topics include:
health technology assessment (HTA) and management
clinical, public and social care guidelines
quality standards and indicators
patient and public engagement
stakeholder engagement (such as industry or academia)
research, evidence reviews and health economics analysis
core business support: governance arrangements and resources
data and analytics
communication strategies
implementation of recommendations.
You can either choose from our example agendas or tell us what you want to learn about. We will tailor the topics and duration of the seminar to meet your needs.

This service is popular with international governments, government agencies and universities.
The 2-day programme was packed with interesting presentations and good discussions.
It was very giving for us to get insights into how NICE works and especially insights into the reasons/discussions behind the decisions taken, which we can bring along in our work of changing our methods and processes.
Costs
Seminar fees will vary depending on the complexity of the project and the resources needed. As a guide:
a typical half-day seminar (2 to 3 hours) can cost between £3,000 and £5,000
